Due to its wide outline and mid-length design, this board is suitable for any surfer, no matter how experienced you are or where you are on your surfing journey. It feels more like a shortboard with a bit more determination, providing excellent hold and responsive approach, regardless of wave size, the board’s wide nose and flat rocker make paddling into a wave a breeze. The bottom contours are fairly complex and starts with a slight rounded vee combined with a narrow concave in the nose, which progresses under the chest into to a double- that blends into a prominent spiral vee in the fin area and throughout the tail.

The boards old-school beak-nose feature acts like a counterweight- shifting the balance forward especially when turning. It really exhales when the waves get bigger, especially on a point or reef- in addition to clean or choppy beach breaks.
